OK, lets get going back around the lake. We follow the shore, see a huge Great Blue Heron, some cottages, and then get out at the far end at the dam to swim (and fish) again. Then we follow the other shore all the way back to the boat launch. What a nice day at the lake. Next time, we will show you Baker Falls, a cold rushing stream where kids jump in the falls from rocks and bridges! |
Anna my dog and Jed, the adopted cat that I share with Marge. Jed likes to rub up against Anna, but thd dog keeps scooting away, just in case Jed gets fiesty and gives a swat. Below you can see Marge's garden. Each year Marge makes the garden better, since she is a Master Gardener. So she put in a lovely arbor. (see next photo) I try to look on the bright side, and see this as inspiration for paintings within walking distance, which it is. I try not to think that living next to such a gardener makes my yard look like a vacant lot that went out of control. To see the painting that was done with this garden in mind, go to my "Paintings" page. |
