At the Simsbury 1820 House - January 5 to February 15, 2020
The first image of the Monarch Butterfly is a female. I did not know that until I met a couple who raises Monarchs and purchased the block print below. The Male Monarch has a noticeable dot on the wing, see last row of photos below. That print is being framed to complete the set. Both prints consist of a black ink block print on paper, hand painted with orange and green and framed under glass. The other print that sold is the horse from Flamig Farm. That one is a giclee print of a pastel. All the paintings and prints here are for sale, an no commission goes to the inn.
Painting Study Group at Canton Gallery on the Green
There was a large crowd at the opening night for our exhibit. I stopped taking pictures after we set up, except for the cleanup crew. This was the early bunch of close friends and artists. The opening went from 6 to 9 pm, with food and wine. (we like this place!)
Granby Public Library hosts Painting Study Group's first art show!

Somehow my artwork is featured in the Hartford Courant article on the show.
|
They also showed the showcase, where we had art artifacts, along with some other panels of art. Watercolors and pastels under glass do not photograph well, so images of oil paintings show better in photos And so do cute cats and chickens too.

Land Trust Art Show 2016. I looked all around the room for my painting (because that is what artists do) enjoying all the great entries, and finally found mine on the edge of the entry way. But look, my one from last year is on the poster, how cool is that? People enter this show from all over the state and beyond. |
Winter Wonders Art Show at Lost Acres Vineyard, on until December 31, 2014.
Here you can see one wall of the Vineyard, packed with all sorts of artworks from Granby Artists members. My piece here is the painting, seen below, with the dirt road. It is called "Grace's View" and it is the view from Ben and Grace's porch in Corinth, Vermont.
Below that is the painting on wood, "Warblers on Branches". I have 5 pieces in this show, all small works.
