A group of students gather for a photo in front of the sign. Lots of parents are taking pictures right in front, so I got the side view.
In the Engineering Department, there were 97 who got their BE degree (bachelor of engineering, a 5 year program) and others who received their masters or doctorate degrees. The total was still under 200 students.

This is Rene, who graduated with a major in both Art and English. They met when Chris took art classes. She is going on to a job in Connecticut in marketing. Chris and Rene are laughing because I told them that Jill always has pictures of people eating in Thailand, and tells us what they all had.
This shows the large tent with a buffet of food. Not enough for Chris, but there were cheeses, fruits, pasta salads, and good desserts. The bar had only sodas.

This girl Nancy, center, told everyone to gather around and get in a picture. On the right is Misha, who was in the group project with Chris that won an award.
The award was:
The Dartmouth Society of Engineers Annual Prize, for a group project. There were 9 other awards in the Engineering Department.

The big graduation set up for the next day. We just skipped this entirely, since Chris went to it last year when he got his 4 year degree. This is the college green where the Di-Cycle race was held.
Below is a photo from last years graduation that Chris actually attended. It was very hot, and we got no photos of him in his cap and gown.
